Look at me;
What do you see?
Not the person
I used to be.
I've grown in age
And become sage
Pent up inside
A growing rage
In black I dress
And I digress
From the norm
Of all the rest.
My view is jaded
Morality faded
The immortal beings
I have dated
Have left me in
A state of sin
My faith in life
Now decisively thin.
