"Sinking"
by Lucifer's Halo

I am surrounded
by an ocean blue
On which I lay
in golden hue
Overhead a yellow
sun does blaze
Burning away early
morning haze
Slowly I sink
beneath the waves
And there is no one
who can now save
Me from the fate
I go to meet
A watery death
I cannot beat
I'm drowning in
my life's mistakes
I sink into fire
in a lake
Under bright blue
cresting waves above
Where once I lived
and once I loved.
