Frankfurt Am Main
by Robin

Clouds, my giant pillows
hovering skies. I see a
sign reading:
FRANKFURT AM MAIN.
Towers racing to the sky.
I'LL GET THERE BEFORE YOU DO!
shouts one to the other.
Bridges made of pretzels.
Beneath them, lakes
of vanilla pudding.
Boats are rowing and
rowing.
Flowers on the banks.
Trying and praying
to touch the sky,
just once.
ONE MORE INCH, I CAN REACH IT IF I TRY.
Mountains behind
clouds are whispering
sounds full of song.
Echoing the city,
Up and down pebbled
roads.
And the mountains are
singing:
A DREAM IS ALL YOU WILL EVER NEED,
AND IT WILL REMAIN WITH YOU ALWAYS.
