Family
by Andrea

Mothers and fathers and sisters and brothers,
Oh my god, how many others?
They follow me and chase me down,
That’s when I run with a frown.

I try to escape but somehow they find me,
Oh my god just let me be.
I run and run and run and run,
Oh great they are having fun.

I run untill I can not breathe,
I found a tree, I’ll hide underneathe,
They run by when I am hiding,
Then they stop and begin deciding.

“Let’s wait here,” they start to say.
All I did was sit and pray.
Please god make them go.
I can’t walk out and tell them no.

They stalk me until I cry.
I just want to say bye bye.
They follow me so I do not leave.
I pull and yell and start to heave.

Why me I like to ask?
it’s not like a certain task.
They do it on purpose, that’s what I think.
But because of them, my arm has a chink.

Oh awesome they broke my arm.
I thought they said they’d do no harm.
But as I said before, oh well.
I know I am going straight to hell.

My family, I really love them.
My one sister is such a jem.
They are fun no matter what.
Even when they hit my butt.
