Myopic rodents.
by Tris

When a mouse cannot see,
Would you deprive it of its tail?
If a rat could not be would you side with the scientists?
If a hamster could be made to jump with each electric shock,
Would you marvel, or rebel?
And then, when you have made the three into blind witches,
Hags of science playing with small lives,
Would you also blame them when your loved ones languished:
"I am sorry Mr Smith, we have no properly tested cure"
You have heard of the rat race? Now who is a blind mouse?
