Forget
by Shasta M

Forget his name.
Forget his face.
Forget his kiss and warm embrace.
Forget his love that once was true.
Remember now theres someone new.
Forget the love that you once shared.
Forget the fact that he once cared.
Forget the time you spent together.
Remember now, he's gone forever.
Forget I cried the whole night long.
Forget his when I play our song.
Forget how close we once were.
Remember now it's him and her.
Forget how I memorized his walk.
Forget the way he used to talk.
Forget the times we both were sad.
Forget the times we both were mad.
Forget he made my dreams come true.
Remember now there's someone new.
Forget his gentle teasing ways.
Forget you saw him everyday.
Forget the thrills when he walked by.
Forget the times he made me cry.
Forget the way he spoke my name.
Remember now, things aren't the same.
Forget the things we planned to do.
Remember now, she loves him too.
Forget the way he held my hand.
Forget the way he did demand.
Forget the way he said "I'll leave you never"
Remember now, he's gone forever.
Forget the times he used to phone.
Remember now you're all alone.
Forget he was my whole wide world.
Remember now, I'm not his girl.
Forget I cried the whole night long.
Forget the time they played your song.
Forget how close you once were.
Remember now he's chosen her.

This is dedicated to my ex, Justin, whom I loved dearly.
Actually, every single poem I've ever written, and all that I
contribute on here, is to Justin. I just hope that someday he will
read them.
