I Believe (by Diogenes Bob)

I believe in children;
I believe that children cry.
I believe in old people;
I believe they will soon die.

I believe in motherhood;
I believe it's often an accident;
I believe in marriage;
I believe that most resent.

I believe in justice;
I believe it's seldom fair.
I believe in honesty;
I believe it is rare.

I believe in hard work;
I believe it is fatiguing.
I believe all men are equal--
Equal at breathing.

I believe in freedom;
I believe it is an illusion.
I believe in truth;
I believe it just conclusion.
I believe in love;
I believe it is a word.
I believe all have a voice;
I believe that few are heard.

I believe in politics;
I believe it is a joke.
I believe in religion;
I believe it mirrors and smoke.

I believe in nothing,
And nothing believes in me.
I believe this is the way
It will always be.

THERE IS NOTHING!

There is no one;
There is no way.
There is no night;
There is no day.
There's nothing to do;
There's nowhere to go.
Nothing to forget;
Nothing to know.

There is no love;
There is no hate.
There is no choice;
There is no fate.

There is no joy;
There is no grief.
There is no doubt;
And no belief.

There is no right;
There is no wrong.
There is no dance;
There is no song.

And, there's nothing I
Can do or say
To make it be
Another way.
