Mr. Eye and the Time Being (by Fregundon)

Where's Mr. Eye?
There's Mr. Eye!
He went to play tennis
With the Time Being!
Who won?
Who cares?
Mr. Eye claims a tie
But the Time Being has
A different story to tell
Well!
"His veins distracted me
But I still prevailed
Through the folly of vollies
That rained down upon me."
"Nay nay!" said the Eye
"My veins are in place
And in place, there to stay.
But do not lie
About your fatal blunder!
You called the thunder
That knocked down your serve.
The loss of your vict'ry
Is what you deserve."
Now don't fight, Mr. Eye,
Time Being, stop swinging your fist
It's about time
You kissed and made up
Woe!
Little did I know
What would occur
When the Eye
Is replaced for the her.
It--I mean IT
All rocked. Every last bit!
Every molecule crumbled
In light of their pith.
It all came apart
And came crashing to the ground!
I didn't know
That existence would fall.
Maybe tennis isn't so great
After all.
