you are this japan in me (by vox et praeterea nihil)

you are this japan in me

you make me fear make me feel
of all the things i never ...

RIGHT NOW i can't breathe because
you haven't touched this air
RIGHT NOW i can't eat because
you haven't been in here
RIGHT NOW i can't sleep because
my dreams are waiting for you to catch up

new to the world
new to the spiderweb
new to the smear & the smell

the fear & the fell
the here & the hell

the show & the tell

where lies fall into gutter cracks
where white chess pieces make a game of things
where cartoon ink is used on paper
where sarcasm is the future bullet-train
where me is another locked box

weighing in at one seventy (give or take)
the undisputed underdog of the western world
and all he can say is: you are this japan in me
you are where cyberpunk enters the real world
you are where cool is the dog down the street
you are to touch as rain is to the end of the world

and i don't speak much english some days
but all i can think is: You are this. You are this.

You are this.
You are this.

you are this japan in me.
