Shades of Color (by Karen)

Shades of color
Filter, filter through
And nobody sees them
But her
They think her head
Is full of air
And dreams
But her thoughts
Are as real
As the Earth and Sky
So twisted and complex
The colors
Forever slipping further
Away
From everything
And everyone
Would that they all were
Telepathic
Well even then
Who could know
Who could see the colors
Through her eyes
Into her heart of hearts
Is she here
Is she not
So twisted and complex
The Colors
Forever Slipping Further
Away...
