creepy critters
by dave

Creepy critters come out at night,
slinking, stinking, slimy, creatures,
they give us nightmares and fright,
they possess ungainly features.

If we can't see them, we freak out,
if we can feel them, they make us uneasy,
we wake up and scream and shout,
those creepy critters are soo sleeezy!

They inch or scurry across the floor,
sometimes zigzagging here and there,
they cannot be stopped by one closed door,
they keep on with their cursed scare.

Creepy critters, that's their name,
they give us all, the shivers,
they drive us all half-insane,
(I think they eat your livers!)

Bugs, I can't say that I like them,
they are are a different breed,
creepy, crawly critters, I condemn,
for them I have no need.
