Scaring Myself (by Patrick Woodmency)

In my altered mind,
I try to find,
Nothing, but Nothing has gone away.

I, in vain,
Through tremendous pain,
Try to escape reality,
Am blind, but I can still see,
Need nothing from no one,
But No One has left me stranded,
Destruction I've commanded,
Want all the answers,
Don't know the questions,
Admitting only your confessions,
Flee from death,
To escape my life,
Ignorant anger cuts like a knife through my soul,
I wander on my own,
To crumble at your throne,
By myself, but never alone.
