Green waves of plaguarism
by Graham Coleman

Scrambling across lichen
a voice insists Œseaweed¹
holding my folded, dry-cleansed
trousers in one hand
propelling my escape reck-
lessly gripping copper pipes like stairrods,
loosening behind me with other hand
what a comedy ponce spectacle it must present
while the green waves purr round soggy shoes

accused of plaguarism [sic] of content, my Euro 2000
megazine the subject of excomm-n threat

the better-informed, closer sourced
cognoscente miffed at that invasion of
their hallowed turf

my hack-style, breadandbutter cutandpaste
hagiography not up their alley
and a sigh of phew! exag. bead-sweat removal gesture
