Butterfly pleads with the child
but gets crushed anyway.
Lawnmower cuts snake and frog
piss like dew on the lawn
Empty trees cause the birds are dead.
Broken windows lets bees in.
Busted speakers make no sound
flattened tires don't go round.
Fan blade slowing spinning
coffee pot on the blink.
Dryer makes the room hot
The trash makes the house stink.
Newspapers are everywhere,
dog and cat and beaver hair.
Train rumbles outside the door,
hingeless door is always ajar.
Tormented rose blooming flows of blood.
Stuffing from a teddybear burning in the tub.
Reeses peanut butter cup melting on the stove,
mixing with the flows of blood dripping from the rose.
