Our Fallen Family (by Rebecca)

It happened so long ago
I don't remember why
You were supposed to be in love
But you had to say good-bye
We could have worked it out
We could have made it right
We could have been the family that I dream of late at night
But you gave it all away
Know it would hurt
You left the perfect life you had
Leaving my heart trampled in the dirt
But you never looked back
You never saw me cry
You never knew the pain you caused way down deep inside
Your phone calls are getting scarcer
You seem like you don't care
You live your happy life when your house seems so bare
Bare of all the love you had
Bare of all the toys
Bare of all the things that come with little girls and boys
Which brings me to my last point
The one thing your still missing
The children you left behind and the wife that you miss kissing.
