I Would If I Could (by Samson Gregory)

I would be famous
If I could be famous.
But I won't be famous
Because I can't be famous.
I am trapped in the middle class, no ass, all this, none of that, poor, white stinking trash,
Middle-class America.
My poetry will never be discovered.
My talent will never be known.
This is why I bring what I have,
All I have,
To you.
Thank you,
Yes you,
For reading my soul. For reading my tears.
For knowing me. Lucky, lucky you.
